Youenn Maupu

Youenn is a Director at Chaberton Professionals and manages the Engineering practice activities in the French speaking part of Switzerland and across multiple industries.

Youenn started in the Railway industry as part of a team that designed a new train fleet for the Swiss railway company SBB-CFF-FFS. 

In 2010, he joined an international recruitment agency in Geneva supporting Engineering recruitments for middle and Senior Management profiles in various industries. Growing from a Consultant to a Manager up to a Senior Manager level, he developed recruitment teams in the following divisions: Procurement & Supply Chain, Healthcare & Lifesciences and Engineering, while always keeping a consistent recruitment activity within this latter area. 

After 9 years, Youenn decided to embrace a new challenge and joined the worldwide leader in HR solutions. There, he contributed to building a performing team of 10 individuals in charge of recruiting in the operations field (Engineering & Manufacturing, Procurement & Supply Chain, Healthcare & Life Sciences). This experience allowed him to setup the footprint of the company on the Swiss market starting from almost zero. 

In early 2022, Youenn decided to focus on what he loves to do and on his main pillars of skills which are supporting organization in their technical recruitment needs while building and developing teams in this area without compromising on the quality of his work. 

Born in Nantes, Youenn graduated from Nantes University in Material Science and hold a master’s degree in material sciences in France.
