Stephan Lang is Senior Partner at Chaberton Partners in Frankfurt, bringing more than 20 years of international experience in Executive Search, Board & Leadership Advisory, Management Consulting and Leadership Assessment.

He advises CEOs, boards and investors across a broad range of industries, including Industrials & Manufacturing, Mobility, Financial Services, Consumer & Retail, Pharma & Healthcare and Professional Services, particularly Consulting, Audit and Advisory. His clients include global corporations, family-owned businesses and private equity-backed organisations.

Stephan has extensive expertise in Private Equity, supporting investment firms in building investment teams and appointing C-suite executives and transformational leaders within portfolio companies, with a focus on growth and value creation. His cross-industry Digital & Technology expertise combines technology leadership, business strategy and organisational transformation.

Before joining Chaberton Partners, Stephan spent eight years as Partner at Indigo Headhunters, leading the Digital & Technology and Industrial Practice Groups. Previously, he held senior positions at Heads! International and Odgers Berndtson, managing executive search and leadership assessment assignments across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

Earlier in his career, Stephan was Managing Partner at SH&L Management Consulting and gained management consulting experience at BMW Group and Siemens AG.

Stephan holds a German Diplom degree in Business Administration and completed an additional academic programme in International and Intercultural Competence at the University of Regensburg. Combining an entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic and collaborative approach, he is a trusted advisor on critical leadership decisions, business transformation and sustainable value creation.
