Michael A. Koch

Michael Koch is Senior Partner at Chaberton Partners.

Michael brings an extensive experience in Executive Search & Advisory, with a strong focus on complex business transformations. He has international markets experience across DACH, France, CEE and North America, as well as broad C-level experience across Industrial, Consumer & Retail, Professional Services, with a focus on Transformation, Reorganization and Digital.

Michael has successfully managed businesses, accelerating growth through Reorganization, Digitalization/Automation and Internationalization. As a CEO for CEE and later for France in a global leading professional media & software group, he successfully accelerated the digital transformation, streamlined operations and repositioned the product portfolios in both geographies. As a President of a leading e-learning company in the US, Michael also gained a deep understanding for complex cultural transformations in major blue-chip organizations. Earlier in his career Michael was an Executive Committee member in two business units and a member of the extended board of a leading European paper and packaging group. Lately Michael was a partner in a highly innovative Insurtech start up in Paris before their successful exit to a large international broker network.

Prior to joining us, Michael was a Senior Client Partner and MD of Korn Ferry's office in Vienna and assisted clients in Executive Search, Leadership Diagnostics & Assessments, Organizational and Leadership Development.

Michael holds a master of the Economic University of Vienna and participated in a wide range of executive programs along his career. 

He has lived and worked in Vienna, Paris, New York and Düsseldorf. Currently commuting between Düsseldorf and Vienna. Michael is fluent in English, French and German.
