Jörn Ottendorf

Jörn Ottendorf is a Partner at Chaberton Partners Executive Search, based in Frankfurt.

Before joining Chaberton Partners, Jörn spent more than 20 years in Russell Reynolds, holding leadership positions at international level and building a strong track record in advising clients across the Technology, Industrial and Automotive sectors. He has extensive expertise in placing senior executives in C-level roles such as CIO, CTO, and Chief Digital Officer, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and business transformation.

Throughout his career, Jörn has supported multinational corporations, mid-sized companies and private equity firms during their digital transition, combining his understanding of new technologies with a pragmatic business approach. He has also successfully led numerous leadership and development assessments, helping organizations to adapt and scale in response to evolving challenges.

Earlier in his career, Jörn developed international practices in Industrial and Technology executive search, serving as a trusted advisor to Boards and C-suites across Europe.

Jörn studied business administration and holds degrees in both economics and law. He is fluent in German and English.
