Tim Alexander Lüdke
Tim Lüdke supports Chaberton Partners as a Senior Partner and Advisor and helps the firm in its ambitious growth trajectory across current and future geographies. His client work is focused on the German speaking markets and the global Technology and Services landscape.
Tim brings a wealth of experiences working with Owners, Boards and C-Suite Executives from his background in leadership roles in the executive search and IT services, hardware and software space. Tim has conducted executive search and advisory mandates across an array of global players, national champions and PE/VC led as well as family-owned businesses in the high-tech space and adjacent environments like payments, industrial automation, healthcare and professional services.
Prior to joining us, Tim was a Managing Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates and a Partner with some high-profile search boutiques in Germany. He also ran Nemetschek, a hybrid family-owned and publicly listed software company as CEO, was a Director at Dell Computers and an Officer in General Electric’s IT Solution Business.
At Heidrick he served many years as member of their highest executive board, overseeing new markets (Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, parts of Middle East and the African continent), leading several M&A activities in the US, Africa, Europe and Germany and initiating the move of the firm into new technology offerings, launching an additional P&L.
Tim is a high-profile trusted advisor to many owners and firms across several geographies. With his entrepreneurial DNA and his decades of experience in ambiguous high growth environments he has a unique profile sought also for other board and advisory roles.
Tim, a German native, is a true European, having lived and worked in France, the UK, Germany, Austria and now since several years in Italy. He holds a business Master’s degree from WHU/Otto Beisheim School of Business. His Italian office is in Rome and he is fluent in German, English and speaks French and Italian.
