Paola Maria Caburlotto

Paola Maria Caburlotto leads the Professional and Financial Services Practices at Chaberton Partners, where she is part of the Board Services Practice being an Equity Partner.

Paola has been following the evolution of women as managers, entrepreneurs and investors.  She is an Advisor for corporations on diversity topics and of start-ups on growth topics. She is member of the Board of Directors of the University for Chicago Alumni.

With a career in Senior Executive Search since 2007, Paola worked as a Partner in Transearch and Signium International with a focus on Board-level positions always in charge of the Professionals and Financial Services practices. In 2012, Paola launched a Digital Practice and in 2018 created a Research on the evolution and value creation of Big Data and AI and its impact in future Banking and Insurance Organizations.

In 2001, Paola participated at XDS Inc., an American startup, that developed the first cloud computing architecture. Here Paola was responsible for the first service development, for the team and the organization growth.

Her professional experience started in Shipping as Marine Insurance Broker to then move to Sale & Purchase in Genoa and London with different levels of responsibility. 

Her international academic background includes a degree in Languages and a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting, a Master Program in Economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth. She lives between Lugano, Milan, and Torino and speaks fluently Italian, English, and French.
